Ministry of Defense: Air defense systems shot down 14 drones overnight
On the night of August 13, Russian air defense systems shot down 14 Ukrainian drones that were attempting to attack targets on Russian territory. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.
It is specified that the air defense forces shot down 12 drones over the Kursk region and one each in the Belgorod and Voronezh regions.
It is worth noting that military action in the Kursk region continues. Russian troops, together with the border guards of the FSB of the Russian Federation, are preventing attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to penetrate deep into the country. According to the latest data from the Russian Defense Ministry, during the entire period of fighting in the Kursk direction, the Ukrainian army lost up to 1,610 soldiers and 268 different types of weapons and military equipment.
