MOSCOW, August 13 A subsidiary of Surgutneftegaz in Tver has complied with a warning from the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of the Russian Federation; the company's filling stations in the city now have the same retail price for gasoline, the agency said.
In July, the Tver UFAS of Russia issued a warning to OOO SO Tvernefteprodukt, a subsidiary of Surgutneftegaz, due to different prices at gas stations depending on the presence of competitors nearby. The violations had to be corrected by August 12.
«The subsidiary of Surgutneftegaz complied with the warning of the Tver UFAS of Russia about price discrimination,» the FAS said.
«Within the established deadline, the company submitted a report and evidence of compliance with the warning to the UFAS. The same price has been set at all gas stations in Tver,» the service added.
It is specified that in 60% of cases the cost of gasoline became lower than it was before the warning was issued.
