Retailers supported the FAS proposal to limit prices on a number of models

MOSCOW, August 13 Retailers DNS, M.Video-Eldorado and Citylink are ready to support the proposal of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of the Russian Federation to limit prices on a number of equipment models, company representatives said.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service proposed that these chains voluntarily limit prices and markups on a number of popular models of household appliances and electronics.
“Yes, this year, as in 2023, we are ready to support the FAS proposal. We are currently working on a list of products,” the DNS press service reported.
“The Citylink company received and familiarized itself with the FAS proposal to reduce prices on household appliances and electronics. Conceptually, the online retailer supports the agency’s initiative and is preparing a list of products for which prices will be reduced. We will be able to provide details later,” said the company’s PR manager Denis Kovarsky.

«The M.Video-Eldorado Group supports the proposal of the FAS of Russia to fix prices for a number of popular models of equipment in anticipation of the new school year. Also, in the near future, M.Video-Eldorado will prepare a list of product items, the prices for which will be fixed for a month: from the end of August to the end of September. M.Video-Eldorado is in close cooperation with the FAS of Russia,» the company's press service said.
