MOSCOW, August 13 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which the general management of the Directorate for National Maritime Policy has been assigned to the aide to the President of the Russian Federation; the corresponding document has been posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
«The general management of the activities of the Directorate is carried out by the aide to the President of the Russian Federation in accordance with the distribution of responsibilities between officials of the Executive Office of the President of the Russian Federation,» the document says.
National maritime policy issues are supervised by aide to the President of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev. The Presidential Directorate for National Maritime Policy is headed by Sergei Vakhrukov.
