The commander of the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which attacked the Kursk region, killed his soldier. This was reported by the wife of the deceased soldier.
According to her, the Ukrainian soldier Ivan Shmygel disappeared in the Sumy region under unclear circumstances. It turned out that in early August, rumors began to circulate among the Ukrainian soldiers about an impending attack on Russian territory. The militants realized that this would not end well for them, and they made a scandal.
Most of them were calmed down, but Shmygel was the most indignant and did not agree to participate in the terrorist attack under any circumstances. For this, the brigade commander called him in for a «preventive talk», after which no one saw Ivan again.
At the same time, the soldier's former colleagues say that they did not know him at all, and this is the first time they are hearing about this situation. No one knows where the body of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier is either.
