In Ufa, migrants who set fire to a club they were refused entry to were sentenced

UFA, August 14 A court in Ufa sentenced two migrants from Uzbekistan to ten and 11 years in prison for setting fire to a nightclub because that they were not allowed in, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Bashkortostan reported on its Telegram channel.
«The court sentenced one defendant to 11 years in prison, and his accomplice to ten years. Both convicts must serve their sentences in a strict regime penal colony. The victim was also awarded compensation for moral damages in the amount of 200 thousand rubles,» the publication says.
The incident occurred at the end of September 2023 at the Meet Point nightclub in Ufa. Security guards did not allow two drunk Uzbek citizens into the establishment. Then the young people bought gasoline at a nearby gas station, poured it on the entrance to the club, the security guard, and set it on fire. As a result, no one was hurt, and the club employees put out the fire themselves.

After that, the attackers tried to fly to Moscow, but they were detained at the airport and charged with attempted murder, committed with particular cruelty in a generally dangerous manner by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.
