MOSCOW, August 14 Wildberries is launching sales of over-the-counter drugs across the country, the company said.
In 2021, the company launched the sale of over-the-counter drugs in test mode. Only residents of Moscow and the Moscow region could buy them. 
«Wildberries is launching the sale of over-the-counter drugs on the platform throughout Russia. The innovation gives buyers access to a wide range of medications that can be purchased without a doctor's prescription,» the company reported on Wednesday.
Sellers will be able to sell such products on the marketplace only if they have a license for the retail sale of drugs, after the platform has carefully checked such documents. The sellers themselves are responsible for storing, assembling and delivering goods in this category. «In this case, the platform directly connects the seller with the buyer,» the company explained.
They added that the company constantly checks the online storefront and ensures that products prohibited by law and platform rules are not allowed to be sold.
