The new crossover of the Chinese brand will be offered in three trim levels, with two engines, front or all-wheel drive on the Russian car market. Sales will begin at the end of next week, on August 23.
The Haval F7 has been on the Russian market for several years now; it also has a version with a coupe-like body and the index F7x. The role of the next generation of the regular “Seven” in the Russian Federation is the SUV, which in its native China was introduced back in 2021 under the name Haval Shenshou, which translated from Chinese means “beast”, “monster”. By the way, this model does not yet have a “coupe” option, although it is possible that it will appear later.

The local office of the brand declassified the exterior design and shared details about the technology and equipment at the end of last month. Now the model has acquired a Russian price tag, in addition, the start date of sales has been announced: the crossovers will appear in Haval City dealerships at the end of next week, on August 23.
The second generation Haval F7 is based on the Lemon2 platform. Now the local representative office has revealed the dimensions of the new model: they are the same as those of the Chinese version. The length is 4780 mm (89 mm more than the “first” F7 in the Russian specification), the width is 1890 mm (24 mm more), the height is 1675 mm (15 mm less), and the distance between the axles is 2800 mm (75 mm more). The ground clearance of the new model is from 183 to 191 mm (depending on the version).
The engine line of the «second» F7 includes a pair of engines with a volume of 1.5 and 2.0 liters, their output is 150 (maximum torque — 230 Nm) and 192 hp (320 Nm), respectively. In the first case, the maximum speed of the crossover is 188 km/h, and it takes 10.9 seconds to accelerate from zero to «hundreds»; in the second — 194 km/h and 9.4 seconds. In any case, only a seven-speed robot with two «wet» clutches is offered in pair. The new generation model has versions with a «younger» engine only front-wheel drive, and with a «senior» engine only all-wheel drive, although the predecessor had a version with 1.5T and AWD.

The new Haval F7 will be presented on the Russian market in three trim levels. The list of equipment for the basic Elite includes: 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, LED optics, retractable door handles, cruise control, rear parking sensors, all-round cameras, light and rain sensors, a set of heaters, dual-zone climate control. This crossover has fabric-trimmed seats, a 10-inch virtual instrument panel and a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system on the front panel. Six airbags are provided.

The mid-range Premium trim includes: 19-inch wheels, tinted rear windows, speed limiter, front parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, a number of driver assistants, eco-leather interior trim, wireless smartphone charging, electric driver's seat adjustment, electric fifth door, auto-dimming interior mirror. The front panel of such a crossover has a single display with a digital instrument cluster with a diagonal of 12.3 inches and a multimedia touch screen of 14.6 inches.
The top version of Haval F7 called Tech Plus is equipped with a panoramic roof, ventilation of the front seats (the passenger seat also has electric adjustments, the driver's seat has a function for remembering the settings), a projection display and a sensor for contactless opening of the trunk. The list of assistants includes: adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking systems, pedestrian and cyclist recognition, road sign recognition, automatic high beam control, lane control and an assistant when driving through intersections.
Recall that last week the local representative office of the brand announced Russian prices for the new Haval H9.
