MOSCOW, August 15 The owner of a hotel in Lobnya, where two people died and three more were injured as a result of a fire, was arrested in the case of providing unsafe services, according to the Telegram channel of the Moscow region Headquarters of the Russian Investigative Committee.
Earlier, the RF Emergency Situations Directorate for the Moscow Region stated that in Lobnya rescuers were extinguishing a fire in a residential building on 200 square meters, 2 people were killed. Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated regarding the provision of services that did not meet life and health safety requirements. 
«A 43-year-old man, who is the owner of the hotel where the fire occurred, has been detained. He is suspected of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements of life and health safety). At the request of the investigation, the court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect,» the statement says.
It is emphasized that the man will be charged in the near future.
According to the investigation, a fire occurred in a hotel in Lobnya on August 12, after it was extinguished, two people were hospitalized in serious condition and later died. It is noted that three more received burns of varying severity.
The Investigative Committee believes that the suspect, being an individual entrepreneur, misused a residential building in which he provided residential rental services that did not meet fire safety requirements.
