MOSCOW, August 15 The Moskvich car plant maintains its plans for car sales this year at 27 thousand units, the plant's commercial director Maxim Zlatokrylets told reporters.
«We are maintaining this figure, we are moving towards it. Our sales are currently increasing. In the first half of the year, we sold 10 thousand cars. For the second half of the year, our plan is, accordingly, 17 thousand,» he said, answering the question of whether the plant is maintaining plans to sell 27 thousand cars this year.
According to the top manager, more than 11.8 thousand Moskvich cars have already been sold since the beginning of the year.
«Our main task today is to increase deliveries to the dealer network,» Zlatokrylets added.
The Moskvich car plant is located on the site of the former Renault Russia plant, which the French auto concern Renault, which ceased operations in the Russian Federation, transferred to the Moscow government in May 2022 (Kamaz currently also owns 50%). At the moment, there are three models in the line — the Moskvich 3 urban crossover, the Moskvich 3e electric car and the Moskvich 6 sedan.
