Rostec spoke about the Zavet-D artillery control system

MOSCOW, August 16 The Zavet-D artillery control system will speed up the process of preparing for firing and will allow paratroopers to hit stationary targets in 6-10 seconds, it was reported to journalists at the Rostec press service.
«From the Zaveta-D command and observation vehicle, planning combat operations in an artillery division takes only 7 to 12 minutes, hitting stationary targets takes 6 to 10 seconds, and taking an unprepared position on the move takes no more than 3 minutes. The system allows repelling a simultaneous attack from 20 targets,» the report says.

As the general director of NPP Rubin Alexey Danilov, whose words are quoted by the press service of the state corporation, said, «Zavet-D» automates the work of the command and observation post, the control of combat operations of the artillery division, the mortar battery of the Airborne Forces, as well as the optical-electronic reconnaissance.
«The product is equipped with a set of technical means of automation, communications, data transmission, reconnaissance, surveillance, topographic referencing, navigation and software. We continue to conduct R&D in order to further improve the product,» Danilov said.
Samples of automated workstations of the Zavet-D complex were first presented at the Army-2024 forum, which was held in the Patriot Park near Moscow from August 12 to 14. The basic set consists of a command and observation vehicle and a command and staff vehicle, a remote command and observation post, two portable software and hardware systems, a technological system, and a unified software and hardware control system.
