As Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the military stopped the enemy's advance. He emphasized that the operation would end with the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and access to the state border.
A counter-terrorism operation regime has been introduced in the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk Regions. A federal emergency regime is also in effect in Kursk.
