MOSCOW, August 15 The architecture of the business program of the Russian Energy Week – 2024 has been published, the central theme of the event will be «Energy cooperation in a multipolar world», according to a press release from Roscongress on the eve of the forum.
«The architecture of the business program of the seventh international forum «Russian Energy Week — 2024» has been approved. It will be held at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow from September 26 to 28. The central theme of the event will be «Energy Cooperation in a Multipolar World,» the statement said.
The business program of the forum will include more than 30 events, divided into thematic blocks: «International Agenda: Cooperation for Development», «Sustainable Energy Development», «Technology and Data as the Basis for Leadership» and «Development of the Russian Fuel and Energy Complex: Strategy» and regulation», «Socially oriented fuel and energy complex».
It is specified that on the zero day of the REW, the scientific and practical conference «Territory of Energy Dialogue» will be held. As part of the main program of the forum, business breakfasts dedicated to the future of energy will also be held. The main events will be held on September 26 and 27. The Russian Energy Week will end with the traditional Youth Day.

This year, the REW will host a meeting of BRICS energy ministers and an annual meeting of the BRICS Energy Research Platform. Particular attention, as noted, will be paid to cooperation between Russia and Africa in the energy sector. An important place in the program will be occupied by the topic of sustainable energy development, new resources, and the use of digital technologies in the industry. In addition, the forum participants will discuss the development of the Russian fuel and energy complex, the training of engineering personnel for the fuel and energy complex, and approaches to training young specialists.
The International Forum «Russian Energy Week» is one of the key international platforms for discussing current trends in the development of the modern fuel and energy complex. The event is traditionally held with the participation of the heads of the largest companies in the energy industry. In 2023, more than 70 events with the participation of more than 225 speakers took place within the framework of REW. More than 5 thousand delegates from 84 foreign countries and territories took part in the forum.
The organizers of REW are the Roscongress Foundation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation with the support of the Moscow government. This year, for the first time, the forum will be held at two venues: the Central Exhibition Hall «Manezh» will host business program events, and the Gostiny Dvor will host an exhibition of equipment and technologies for the fuel and energy complex.
