MOSCOW, August 15 Russian footballer of Monaco Aleksandr Golovin will not be able to help the team in the first round match of the French championship against Saint-Etienne due to an ankle injury, L'Equipe reports.
The match will take place on Saturday in Monaco and will start at 22:00 Moscow time. Radoslaw Majecki will also not take part in the game due to an injury.
Because of this injury, the Russian midfielder missed the end of last season and the match against Barcelona in the pre-season tournament «Joan Gamper Cup» on August 12, but in July he took to the field in a friendly game with Austrian «Sturm» (2:2). Golovin appeared in that match in a jersey with the number 10 and the captain's armband.
