MOSCOW, August 18 Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Maxim Glushenkov will undergo surgery on his arm after a fracture he sustained in the fifth round match of the Russian championship against Khimki, the football club's Telegram channel reported.
The match in the Moscow region ended with a score of 1:1. In the middle of the first half, a Khimki player was kicking the ball out of his penalty area and hit Glushenkov in the arm. Doctors put a splint on the Zenit player, but the midfielder was unable to continue the game.
