WASHINGTON, January 5 Russian citizen Vladislav Klyushin pleaded not guilty at the court hearing crimes in the United States. «Absolutely innocent», — said Klyushin in Russian, answering the judge's question about the confession of guilt on the first count of charges, in the rest of the counts he said «innocent.» Moldovan oligarch Plahotniuc has been charged with a new charge. The judge at the trial found the prosecution's arguments convincing that the suspect could abscond and refused to be released on bail. The Russian will await the trial in prison. The US authorities accused Klyushin of using non-public corporate information stolen by hacker methods with the participation of several accomplices in transactions with securities. The Russian is the founder of the company «M13», which specializes in information technology in the field of media monitoring. Klyushin was extradited from Switzerland to the United States on December 18, 2021. The representative of the Russian Embassy in Bern, Vladimir Khokhlov, told RIA Novosti that the extradition of a Russian businessman to the United States is another episode of Washington's «hunt» for Russian citizens in third countries. The extradition took place a few days after the Swiss Federal Court rejected the complaint of Klyushin's lawyers against the decision to extradite him to the United States. As the American Ministry of Justice noted earlier, four more Russian citizens are involved in the same case with Klyushin: Ivan Ermakov, Nikolai Rumyantsev, Igor Sladkov and Mikhail Irzak.
The media learned about the access of Klyushin, arrested in the United States, to information about the GRU
