Through mobile applications, such as Telegram and WhatsApp, you can also find out the user's name, and sometimes see how he looks in the photo. The phone number has to be tied to various applications, it must be indicated when signing documents. At the same time, not all organizations are careful about protecting the personal data of customers, sometimes they leak out and end up on the darknet, and from there into the hands of scammers, Fitz noted. Thus, cybercriminals extract information about the bank account, passport data, place of residence and property of the victim. The expert advised not to disclose personal information on the personal pages of public applications — this could endanger not only you, but also your environment.
