MOSCOW, Jan 9 Four-time Paralympic champion Irek Mannanov dies at age 51 year, according to the page of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan in «VKontakte». Mannanov died on Saturday, January 8. No cause of death has been reported. At the 1998 Paralympic Games in Nagano, Japan, Mannanov became a two-time champion and two-time silver medalist in cross-country skiing. At the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City, America, he won gold in the relay, and also took silver medals in free and classic races. At the 2006 Paralympics in Turin, Mannanov became the champion and won silver in biathlon, and in cross-country skiing he took silver in the relay.
