MOSCOW, Jan 9 The fifth military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces delivered to Moscow from Kazakhstan a group of 100 more Russian citizens, according to the press service of the RF Ministry of Defense. “The fifth aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces delivered from the Almaty airfield (Republic of Kazakhstan) to Moscow 100 Russian citizens from Alma-Ata, who were in the republic with relatives and on a tourist trip who have expressed a desire to return to Russia, «the message says. It is noted that the Russian citizens brought to the Russian Federation arrived in Alma-Ata for the New Year holidays on tourist trips and on vacation with relatives. After the aggravation of the situation and the closure of the Almaty international airport, Russian tourists stayed in the city's hotels. It is also clarified that the citizens turned to the leadership of the Russian contingent of the peacekeeping forces with a request for help in delivering them to the territory of Russia.
