MOSCOW, Jan 12 Uruguayan defender Diego Godin terminated his contract with Cagliari by mutual agreement of the parties, according to the website of the Italian football club. 35-year-old Godin moved to Cagliari from Inter Milan in September 2020. Previously, he also played for Uruguayan “Cerro” and “Nacional”, Spanish “Villarreal” and “Atlético.” Godin is the champion of Spain, winner of the Cup of the country and two-time winner of the Europa League with Atlético. Together with the Uruguay national team, the footballer became the winner of the America's Cup in 2011.
