Italian figure skater Marina Piredda withdrew from the free skate programs at the European Championships for medical reasons, according to the official website of the International Skating Union (ISU). Piredda scored 59.53 points in the short program at the European Championships in Tallinn and took an intermediate 14th place. On Saturday, the Italian was supposed to compete in the second group. Russians Anna Shcherbakova (fourth place after the short program), Alexandra Trusova (third place after the short program) and Kamila Valieva (first place after the short program) will perform a free program in the last fourth group.
