A new list of free medical services of the Medical Guarantee Program.
In Ukraine approved the updated Medical Guarantees Program, which provides for the expansion of the list of free medical services to citizens, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Facts.
According to the National Health Service, 157 billion hryvnias have been allocated for the implementation of the program this year, which will increase tariffs for almost all medical services.
“For example, more than UAH 8 billion was allocated for cancer treatment in 2022, which is about UAH 5 billion more than in 2021. Financing of care for patients with cardiovascular diseases, in particular, in cases of heart attacks and strokes, increases by 1.8 billion hryvnia and in in 2022 reaches 4.8 billion hryvnia. Medical institutions will receive more money, which will allow them to purchase the necessary medicines and create decent working conditions for medical workers, head of the National Health Service Natalia Husak.

- primary care — services of family doctors, therapists and pediatricians;
- specialized and tertiary care — services in hospitals, such as operations and hospital stays emergency care -call an ambulance 103; palliative care medical rehabilitation;
- medical care for children under 16;
- pregnancy and childbirth.
In total, the 2022 program includes 38 service packages, of which two are new: one-day surgery for adults and children, and medical care in epidemic conditions.
Priorities for this year remain treatment of stroke and heart attack, research for early detection of oncology, medical care for women in childbirth, medical care for newborns in complex neonatal cases.
Tariffs for the treatment of oncological diseases will increase. Thus, the tariff for chemotherapeutic treatment will increase by 10,000 hryvnias to 36,000, and for treatment of children oncological diseases, NSZU will pay institutions up to 131,000 hryvnias. The tariff for the treatment of oncohematological diseases will increase from 54 thousand UAH to 74 thousand UAH.
One of the highest tariffs in the Medical Guarantee Program for neonatal care —it will grow from 113 to ;135 thousand UAH, the maximum tariff will be 161 thousand UAH for the treatment of premature babies in institutions that meet additional requirements.
The tariff for medical care during childbirth will increase by 5 thousand UAH — up to ;15 thousand UAH And for institutions that will meet additional requirements up to 20 thousand UAH.
Among the innovations is mandatory free neonatal screening for all newborns to diagnose twenty-one diseases.
< p>The Affordable Medicine program will include drugs for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, as well as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
