MOSCOW, Jan 17 Moscow football club CSKA announced the transfer of the Paraguay midfielder Jesús Medina on his Twitter page. The army team announced the transfer with the help of a video in which head coach Alexei Berezutsky pays for the purchase from Paraguay. Medina's agreement with CSKA is for 3.5 years, until the end of the 2024/2025 season. Before joining CSKA, Medina was in free agent status. Previously, the 24-year-old Paraguayan played for the North American Major League Soccer (MLS) New York City team, in which he has played 119 matches since 2018. He scored 26 goals and 10 assists. Also in the video there was a hint at the purchase of Turkish striker Yusuf Yazici. The media also previously reported on the successful negotiations between the club and the player.
