Why do Ukrainians prefer to work in Poland?
For many workers, working in neighboring Poland, the end of last year was marked by good news. The Polish government adopted amendments to the laws that made staying in the country more convenient and easier to get a job.
Last year, one and a half million of our citizens. This figure is expected to increase this year. Why do Ukrainians prefer to work in Poland?
Who gets paid in Poland and how much?
The main reason that pushes our fellow citizens to look for work abroad is a higher level of wages. In Poland, the average salary reaches 78100 UAH. (data from the recruitment agency grc.ua).
The distribution of wages is as follows:
- 50% of employers are willing to pay UAH 44.1–103.5 thousand .;
- 29% of employers pay UAH 103.5-123.5 thousand;
- More than UAH 123.5 thousand. ready to offer 21% of companies.
Where are our specialists expected?
Here the picture is almost the same as in Ukraine:
- IT, telecommunications — 34%;
- Sales — 14%;
- Education and science — 10%.
- Agriculture, administrative staff, and industrial specialties also scored 5% each.
The highest paid vacancies
The average level of salaries in different areas looks like this:
- IT, telecommunications — UAH 96.6 thousand;
- Sales — 76, UAH 1 thousand;
- Agricultural and industrial specialties — UAH 54.3 thousand;
- Trucking — UAH 31.2 thousand
In some areas, salaries in Ukraine and Poland differ significantly, while in others they are almost on the same level.
By simplifying the conditions of stay and employment, Poland has tightened the punishment for illegal labor in its country. If a citizen of Ukraine is caught in violation, he will be fined, deported and banned from entering the country for 5 years.
