Head of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Victor Maigurov at a press conference at the Rossiya Segodnya MIA within the framework of the project «Media Center of the Team of the Russian Olympic Committee» announced the composition of the Russian team for the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. For men, the Russian team will be represented by: Alexander Loginov, Eduard Latypov, Daniil Serokhvostov, Karim Khalili and Maxim Tsvetkov. Alexander Povarnitsyn and Anton Babikov will go to Beijing as substitutes. The women's team includes Svetlana Mironova, Irina Kazakevich, Kristina Reztsova, Uliana Nigmatullina and Valeria Vasnetsova. «Reserves remain in Russia — these are Anastasia Shevchenko and Evgenia Burtasova,» Maygurov said. The Olympics will be held February 4-20 in Beijing.
