BEIJING, Jan 19 China has already issued visas to some members of a delegation of US government officials to the Beijing Winter Olympics, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said at a briefing on Wednesday. The US delegation that will come to China to participate in the Winter Olympics includes a large number of officials from the State Department and other government departments, many of the members of the delegation have diplomatic or service passports. Zhao Lijian expressed the hope that the US will follow the Olympic spirit and make joint efforts with China to create a good atmosphere for the athletes participating in the Winter Olympics from all countries.
