MOSCOW, Jan 19 Italian Supreme Court upholds nine-year sentence Robinho and his friend Ricardo Falco were sentenced to nine years in prison in 2017 for the gang rape of a girl that occurred in January 2013 in a nightclub in Milan . The decision of the Supreme Court of Italy cannot be challenged and is final. Robinho currently resides in Brazil. Italy may start extradition proceedings after the final verdict on Robinho. However, as Reuters notes, “Brazil has a long tradition of not extraditing its citizens.” Robinho is a two-time Spanish champion with Real Madrid, an Italian champion with AC Milan, a two-time Confederations Cup winner and a Copa América winner with Brazil.
