RIGA, Jan 19 Latvia will be represented at the Beijing Olympic Games in February by 57 athletes in 11 sports, the website of the Latvian Olympic Committee (LOC) reported. The composition of the Latvian national team was approved at a meeting of the LOC on Wednesday. will compete for medals in biathlon, bobsleigh, luge, skeleton, short track, figure skating, speed skating, Nordic combined, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and hockey. In addition to 57 athletes, the approved list of the delegation also includes 43 coaches, four sports doctors and four physiotherapists, while nine people will travel to Beijing as part of the team's management and support staff. The Winter Olympic Games will be held in Beijing from February 4 to 20.
