President Vladimir Putin awarded Alexei Miller, head of Gazprom, the title of Hero of Labor. The corresponding decree is published on the official portal of legal information.
The document says that Miller was awarded «for special labor services to the state and people.»

Miller was born in 1962 in Leningrad. On January 31, he will turn 60 years old. Since 2001, he has been Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprom, and since 2002, he has been Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the concern. Last year, Miller was re-elected to the position of chairman of the board of Gazprom for a new five-year term.
