ANTHOLTS (Italy), Jan 22 Russian biathlete Anton Babikov took tenth place in the mass start at the seventh stage of the World Cup in Antholz, Italy. The victory was won by the German Benedikt Doll, who covered the distance of 15 km in 37 minutes 14.9 seconds with one miss. The second was the Norwegian Johannes Boe (+31.3; 3). Third place was taken by his compatriot Sturla Holm Legrade (+1.28.8; 3). Babikov lost 1 minute 58.7 seconds to the winner with four penalties. Russian Eduard Latypov, who had previously been ill with coronavirus, became 25th (+4.12.9; 8). The World Cup stage in Antholz will end on January 23. There will also be a women's relay on Saturday.
