According to the expert, urticaria is the second most common dermatological symptom of coronavirus. Other diseases are also encountered. «Coronavirus itself can cause exacerbation of skin diseases. We see exacerbation or first-time psoriasis, many patients with vitiligo on coronavirus, we see exacerbation of atopic dermatitis,» Vertieva explained. The specialist also added that in rare cases, patients with COVID-19 may experience damage to the skin vessels (vasculitis).
