Artemyev has not been at the disposal of the Russian national team since the summer of 2021. On February 5, in Bucharest, the Russians will meet with the Romanian team as part of the first round of the European Championship. Previously, Artemyev was the captain of the national team, in 2019 he played as part of the team at the World Championship in Japan. This was the second time in history that the Russian team played in the world championship.
