Ferencváros lost in the first official match under Cherchesov


MOSCOW, Jan 27 Ferencváros lost away to Puskas Academy in a rescheduled match of the fourth round of the Hungarian football championship. The meeting, held in Felchuta, ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the hosts. The only goal was scored by Joao Nunes in the fourth stoppage minute to the first half. In the 24th minute, Ferencvaros midfielder Muhamed Besic was removed from the field for a second yellow card. The match was the first official match for Russian Stanislav Cherchesov as Ferencvaros head coach. He was appointed to this position on December 20, 2021.
