The theme park will celebrate its anniversary this April. The iconic mouse, created in 1928, is changing its classic red and white polka dot dress for a tuxedo and navy blue trousers for the first time in its nearly century-old history. But also polka dots. «Stella McCartney designed the very first Minnie Mouse pantsuit and it's amazing,» the park's official Twitter account says. There is also a picture of a mouse. McCartney herself noted that she was glad to design an outfit for the Disney character.
"Minnie has always held a special place in my heart. We share the same values with her. I love that she is the embodiment of happiness, confidence, sincerity, and also inspires people of all ages around the world. Plus, she has great style!" — commented the designer.
The publication notes that Disneyland Paris will also introduce other new costumes for Mickey, Minnie and the rest of the team on the occasion of the 30th anniversary, and has already prepared various festive events for guests.
