MOSCOW, January 28 Russian Daniil Medvedev won the first set of the semifinal meeting with Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas at the first Grand Slam tournament of the season — the Australian Open tennis championship. The second seeded Medvedev won a set against the fourth seeded Tsitsipas in a tie-break with a score of 7:6 (7:5). In the final, the winner of the meeting up to five sets will play with Spaniard Rafael Nadal.
