Commissioner for Human Rights in Chechnya Mansur Soltaev posted on his Instagram a video with the arrested wife of the former Chechen judge Zarema Musayeva, who was forcibly taken away from Nizhny Novgorod to Grozny.

Soltaev stated that he visited Musaeva in a special detention center and assured her that she was «in normal» and «good» condition. “I came to the cell, talked, talked with her. She is in a normal condition, she has all the medicines, as well as diet food, which is delivered to Zarema Musayeva. So the condition is good. The cell is warm, the cell has all the necessary means,” he reports.
In the video, Musaeva is shown several times in the cell, but she does not say anything. Soltaev also spoke to a woman who appears in the video as a paramedic. She calls Musaeva's condition «satisfactory» and reports that doctors examine Musaeva every day.
The day before, Soltaev also posted a video on his Instagram, in which he allegedly calls the employees of the special detention center in Grozny and finds out about the health of the arrested Musaeva, while the phone number is not visible. The man, who introduced himself as a senior lieutenant, reported that Musayeva’s condition is “satisfactory, she does not complain about anything, all the drugs are available.”
