Famous Ukrainian singer, front -women of the ONUKA group Natalia Zhizhchenko for the first time said that she had a difficult birth, during which she almost lost her first child, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
In an interview with Vasilisa Frolova, which was published on the journalist's YouTube channel, the artist admitted that the doctors had to urgently perform a caesarean section on her.
ONUKA gave birth to her son Alexander in May 2020. At the same time, her pregnancy was also not an easy one.
« Throughout my pregnancy, I was on the verge of preeclampsia, this is due to pressure. That is, I drank anti-pressure medication throughout my pregnancy», — the singer shared.
Zhizhchenko said that before giving birth, her pressure began to rise sharply.
«And before giving birth, my pressure began to rise very much. I was given medicine, but it did not stabilize my blood pressure. And they gave me an epidural. I felt better, I calmed down», — Natalia noted.
But complications arose during childbirth. The baby's pressure began to drop and the doctors decided to do a caesarean section.
«The little one's pulse began to drop. We hear him stop. The doctors were alarmed. And they unanimously say that a cesarean is needed, because there may be hypoxia. I remember it very well: the doctor runs up to sign the agreement. Five minutes, and I was in the operating room and said that I did not want to be unconscious. I was reassured and told that I would be conscious. And then I calmed down & # 187;, — the artist recalled.
Natalya admitted that after giving birth she encountered with another problem — for a long time she felt morally difficult due to the fact that she could not give birth to a child herself. The singer did not even consider herself «real» mother and was thinking about hiding the fact of the operation.
«I was even ashamed to admit to the doctor how I was pregnant, that I had a cesarean. Even my mother was ashamed to tell me. I even considered hiding it. I had the opinion that I failed, and not that I have a healthy baby «, – ONUKA shared her feelings.
However, the doctor managed to calm the newly-made mother — he assured her that she had the operation in the last stages of labor, so she almost gave birth herself.
