MOSCOW, Jan 29 Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev fined $12,000 for a conflict with the referee in the semi-final match of the Australian Open, journalist Ben Rotenberg said on Twitter, citing the official protocols of the tournament. The day before, Medvedev beat the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas with a score of 7:6 (7:5), 4:6, 6:4, 6: one. During the break of the second set, when the score was 5:4 in favor of the Greek, the Russian raised his voice to the referee. He complained that Tsitsipas' father, who acts as his coach, gives his son tips during the match.
