On Thursday, it became known that Bashkirov tested positive for COVID-19 upon arrival in Beijing, after which he was sent to isolation. The next day, the official Telegram channel of the SBR reported that the re-testing gave a negative result. «The test is negative, everything is in order. Sergey is fully involved in the training process,» Maigurov confirmed.
