MOSCOW, Jan 28 Slovenian snowboarder Jean Koshir tests positive for coronavirus after arriving in Beijing for the Winter Olympics, according to the website of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Slovenia. The athlete was sent to isolation. A second test confirmed infection with COVID-19. Now the Slovenian, who was chosen as one of the flag bearers of the national team at the opening ceremony of the Games, is in a specialized hotel, where there is a gym and the necessary equipment for training. In order for Koshir to leave quarantine, he must pass two negative PCR tests at least 24 hours apart. Koshir is an Olympic silver medalist in parallel slalom and a two-time Olympic bronze medalist in parallel giant slalom. The Beijing Olympics will be held February 4-20.
