According to investigators, Beskhlebny led a community whose goal was to «restore the forms of government and state structure that existed under the USSR»**. In addition, the pensioner allegedly intended to carry out an armed seizure of power and arrest the governor of the Omsk region.

According to Beskhlebny, he was going to «restore the destroyed economy», and the military was needed in order to «guard the enterprises and outlets» that he was going to open in the future. The pensioner pleaded not guilty. Defense witnesses confirmed that during meetings with the accused they discussed “the economic condition of pensioners, the revival of trade unions, the restoration of state and collective farms, social problems.”

“Beskhlebny noted that in connection with the accusation of organizing an extremist community with July 2020, he stopped receiving a pension — the only source of income for him, ”the publication clarified.
