MOSCOW, Jan 30 The Swedish men's handball team defeated the Spanish team in the final of the European Championship, which took place in Hungary and Slovakia. The final meeting, held on Sunday in Budapest, ended with a score of 27:26 (12:13) in favor of the Swedes. The most valuable player (MVP) of the tournament was the Swede Jim Gottfridsson, who previously received this award in 2018. The Spanish team failed to defend the European title.
