The head of the Moscow National Bolsheviks, Olga Shalina, was penalized for displaying prohibited symbols. This is reported by Apology.
Shalina is accused of demonstrating extremist symbols (Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The trial will take place tomorrow.
As noted by her associates, the reason for the protocol was a post on Instagram with the symbols of the party «The Other Russia of Eduard Limonov». Now the publication at the link from the protocol is not available.
Now Shalina is serving 15 days of administrative arrest under a protocol on disobedience to police officers (Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Before that, the National Bolsheviks checked the action in support of the arrested comrades-in-arms. After the action, Shalina went to the police station and stopped communicating.
In 2007, the court recognized the National Bolshevik Party as extremist and banned its work in Russia. The National Bolsheviks established a new party, The Other Russia, but the Ministry of Justice refused to register them.
After the verdict on the activists in Chelyabinsk, who were found guilty of creating a «cell of the NBP», they announced their self-dissolution and created the «Other Russia E. V. Limonov».
