BEIJING, Feb 14 The Russian team takes eighth place in the medal standings of the Olympic Games in Beijing, following the results of the competition held on February 14. On Monday, Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov became silver medalists in ice dancing. In total, the Russian team has four gold, six silver and eight bronze awards, in terms of the total number the team is second only to the leader of the medal standings — the Norwegian team (9-5-7). The top three also includes the Germans (8-5-2) and the Americans (7-6-3). The Beijing Olympic Games will last until February 20.
