File photoWASHINGTON, Feb 15 The White House confirmed that the US is considering providing loan guarantees to Ukraine as part of an additional macroeconomic support package. Fox previously reported that the US was ready to help Ukraine with a loan in the amount of billion dollars.
"I can confirm that we are considering this possibility as part of additional macroeconomic support", Karine Jean-Pierre, an administration spokesman, said at a briefing.
She declined to give any details .
