A bill on sanctions against Russia has already been submitted to the upper house of the US Congress at this stage. The document was prepared by a group of Republican senators. ;. In addition, it should lead to large-scale economic losses for the aggressor state.

A member of the Committee on Foreign Relations added that the document also strengthens US allies and partners and provides support Ukraine.
The bill has a symbolic name
The new bill has a symbolic abbreviation NYET (from the Russian word «no»), which stands for Never Yielding Europe’s Territory, that is, «Never cede the territory of Europe». The draft law was immediately supported by more than 30 Republican senators.
The document was introduced after negotiations between Democrats and Republicans stalled.
