Famous Ukrainian Doctor Evgeny Komarovsky spoke on the air of the Golovanov Hour program on Ukraine 24 TV channel about the rules for treating the Omicron coronavirus strain at home, Khronika.info reports with reference to Correspondent.
As Komarovsky emphasized, any «serious drugs» and antibiotics cannot be prescribed and taken alone. In addition, people who are not at risk and do not notice a significant deterioration in their condition can be treated at home.
The doctor recalled that the peculiarity of Omicron is that it most often affects the upper respiratory tract.
«What should be done at home? First: you definitely do not need bed rest, if there is lethargy, weakness, if you feel really bad and want to lie down — of course, lie down. But you must understand that if you can get up and walk, you can sit, then you need to move, moreover, do not lie in one position», Komarovsky emphasized.
