MOSCOW, 17 Feb. The doping test of the Ukrainian bobsledder Lydia Gunko gave a positive result at the Beijing Olympics, the official website of the International Testing Agency (ITA) reports. Gunko's test revealed dihydrotestosterone (a more active form of testosterone). The test was passed on February 14 at the 2022 Games in Beijing. The results became known on February 17. Gunko was informed about the incident and temporarily suspended from the competition in accordance with the anti-doping code. She has the right to challenge the imposition of a provisional suspension in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), as well as to require the opening of a second doping sample.
