The head of the State Duma Committee on State Building and Legislation Pavel Krasheninnikov will propose to the House Council to postpone consideration of the draft law on local self-government. This is reported by RIA Novosti with a link to the press service of the deputy.
The second reading of the bill was planned for March 16, now it should be postponed to June.

The draft law on the organization of local self-government in Russia was submitted to the State Duma in December 2021. It was considered at the plenary session and adopted in the first reading on January 25 (294 deputies voted in favor, 77 voted against, two more abstained).
