MOSCOW, March 1 The Moscow football club Lokomotiv announced on its Telegram channel that it had parted ways with German head coach Markus Gisdol. Marvin Compper has been appointed acting head coach. He will prepare the team for the upcoming matches. Gisdol is 52 years old and joined the team in October. Lokomotiv is seventh in the Russian Premier League standings with 28 points in 18 matches. Gisdol's previous place of work was the German Cologne, which he headed from November 2019 to the summer of 2021. Previously, the coach worked at Schalke, Hoffenheim and Hamburger SV.
